INSTRUMENTS PLAYED: Piano and Accordion

PREVIOUS MUSICAL EMPLOYMENT: Many and varied. In the late 50s and early 60s in musical acts in Scotland including 'The Alex Don Trio' and 'The Melody Makers'. I was later Band Leader on the Union Castle Ships in 1966 and early 1967

WHEN AND HOW I BECAME A WURZEL: 5th November '67.
On the recommendation of Tucker Finlayson, who was at the time bass player with the Acker Bilk Band

IF I WEREN'T A WURZEL I'D BE: .... sitting back enjoying retirement, just as everybody of my age should be doing, but being a Scotsman, I need the money! All lies, I honestly do not know what I would be doing, because I love performing.
