Professor Wurzel's Disc Notes:
To
get a taste of The Wurzels forthcoming album, 'A Load More
Bullocks', the lads chose the anthemic 'Ruby' as their first
release of 2010. Like their previous single, 'Ode to Adge',
it was only made generally available via internet download.
Made famous by The Kaiser Chiefs (Leeds own version of The
Wurzels) this song really got the crowd going at the end
of a gig in Bristol when they performed it infront of a
large gathering of fans at the filming of the single's promotional
trailer the week before it's official release. The video
- a superb example of the Wurzels playing at their very
best - can be found on their YouTube channel - 'Wurzelworld'
For
some lucky fans a traditional CD version of this single
can be found if you look hard enough!
