Professor Wurzel's Disc Notes:
This is a limited-edition, double a-side, 7" vinyl single created in alliance with Brighton-based post-punk indie band British Sea Power released on the 'indie 'Rough Trade' label. The package also included a free beermat!
'Remember Me' was recorded by Louie Nicastro at Charlton Farm Studios, Somerset. 'I Am A Cider Drinker' was recorded by British Sea Power at 'The Princess', East Sussex. Mastered at The Townhouse, London. Both compositions published by EMI Music Publishing Ltd.
The single was limited to a numbered edition of 1966 copies - marking the year in which Adge Cutler first recorded with the Wurzels. It was intended to be only available from the bands' online shops and merchandise stalls. As part of the promotion, The Wurzels appeared as special guests at the British Sea Power show at London Forum.
A
CD version can also be found but this was released as a
demo only and was distributed to press and radio for promotional
and review purposes. The images above include this CD and
the plastic-sleeve notes that went with it.
