Professor Wurzel's Disc Notes:
The
Wurzels third single of 1976 was not as successful as the
previous offerings in sales terms – however ‘Morning Glory'
rapidly became a firm favourite and is still included the
their set-list today. Several compilations feature the song
as does the group's only video release. It has also been
re-recorded in recent years – the most splendid version
appearing on the ‘Taste of The West' CD with Pete Budd delivering
a superb heavy-rock flavour to the song. Both tracks appeared
on the ‘Golden Delicious' album released the following year.
