Professor Wurzel's Disc Notes:
This
double ‘a' side single was released at a time when the country
was going 'JR' mad – the Wurzels were no exception – and
released these two little ditties to prove it!
This
single was released on the John Miles record label – leaving
EMI behind for the first time in the band's history.
And
in case you are too young too remember, JR was the central
character in an amercian TV soap "Dallas' - a devious
oil baron with plenty of enemies!
